As the title says which one is correct?
I read some reputed members suggesting crown to base is correct/better but then other several reputed saying base to crown is correct...
Correct order on working/cleaning chakra? Crown to base OR Base to crown?

From top to bottom is the only way for the initial opening of the chakras.
But, when you empower you can also go bottom to top, as long as you follow the order and you don't skip.
Although this does not exclude working extensively on a chakra while working on the others in order if you feel like needing it.
I'm still learning, the same way as you do, the same way as we all do.

Chakras are opened from Top to down but sixth chakra is the last on the list. 3rd eye 7th 5th 4th 3th 2th 1th and 6th.

Top to Down to ease the energy path upwards. Like cleaning a chimney.
At some point you might feel a “knot” on one chakra which means energy path is blocked. Always work on the chakra above the knot; if you feel it on your throat, work on the 6th chakra until the energy pathway is free.

Apart from initial opening, which is done top bottom for sake of safety, Raum meditation, 666 and king queen, all goes from bottom to top chakra.
Lower chakras are directing, above are magnetic so by nature, push from bottom and a natural pull from top chakras automatically creates a natural channel of energy,
@Henu the Great , here says bottom to top is *correct* after foundation is laid. So in other terms top to bottom is "not so correct", i guess?
But then again i ,while reading older posts yesterday, saw some other quite well known members saying that top to bottom is better, which confused me so......

These are specific meditations, it is not the same as cleaning, I clean them every day from top to bottom (this is most likely what other members refer to)
Some days I also empower them, which I also do from top to bottom, but this is no specific meditation.
However If I do the RAUM meditation I make sure I clean my chakras before, and that I’m not feeling any blockage anywhere. Cleaning is something you should do everyday anyways, so by doing this before any power work or meditation you make sure everything is ready so to speak. After cleaning you follow the meditation by the letter, irrespective of the order in which it may work the chakras
There are also other meditations which also have their own particular order, which of course must be respected.

I do bottom to top, but some members have said they prefer top to bottom. Try either way to see what works best for you. But I feel bottom to top is best as long as your chakras are open.
Top down is best to clear energy, and I clean my chakras in this order. But for empowering, bottom up. The energy from the lower chakras rises and energizes the higher chakras.

I have to ask something,
If the energy goes from bottom to top and thats why we open them top to bottom why not all chakras' point end face upward?
I remember I had at some point read that, for cleaning, going from top until the heart - and then going from base until the heart is the best because if you go from top to bottom, the energy will gather at the base and may make you grounded but a little too much to the point of being lazy (like too much Earth would do), and going bottom to top makes the energy gather at the upper chakras, which can give tendency to daydream.
I have been doing it like that ever since although I can't tell the difference. 🫣
As for empowering, if I want to empower all of my chakras at once, I always use the meditations on the site - otherwise I do one chakra at a time in the respective planetary hour.

The base of the chakra is where energy is absorbed and the point end is where it extends. Lower chakras absorb energy from the "Earth" whereas higher chakras are attuned to the "Heavens".
