Connecting the chakras

Using the ball of light meditation how exactly do I connect the chakras? Just pass the ball or should I collect some of the energy and pass it between the two? What are the benefits of connecting the chakra mates? The base and crown, 6th and sacral, throat and solar?

What I like to do is I visualize the ball passing back and forth slow than faster and faster. I than visualize the passing of the ball back and forth is creating sort of a rod/beam connecting the chakras together. I than visualize the rod glowing brightly and than this passes to the chakras. After visualzing the chakras glowing I make them spin, especially the front one which will help activate it. But just make sure you spin it counter-clockwise as this will help it absorb energy.

The benefit is that energy can move through your body quicker. Proper alignment empowers the soul and allows healing. I used gold energy to link my third eye and sixth chakra. I breathed it in through my third eye and imagined it making a gold link between the two lighting the third eye, the link and the sixth chakra up golden.

Its a little more basic but it definitely works. Use an affirmation such as "my third eye is permantly and properly aligned to my sixth chakra." You should feel the effects immediately AND later that day.
