I was just re-reading some of the meditations when I noticed something. The circulating energy is almost exactly like the micro cosmic orbit that is taught by Chi Kung masters. Only difference is they teach it with the locks. There is also a macro (big) cosmic orbit that they teach which is just a bigger loop.
MCO as taught in chi kung:
Stick tongue on roof of mouth and breath in. Imagine goldwhite light traveling along the front extensions of your body starting at your nose. When u reach perineum release tongue lock and apply the root lock and breath out. As u breath out send the energy up the spine and over the head. When u reach the nose apply tongue lock and breath in to repeat process.
Macro cosmic orbit:
Same as micro but when u reach perineum and do ur outbreath visualize the energy going down the backs of ur legs, to heel, over ur toes, then up the front of the legs. It will reach perineum again and then go up the spine. When it reaches the upper shoulder area then direct it to ur armpits and down the "belly" ( part that faces ur body when arms hang at ur sides)of ur arms. Then over the fingers and up the forearm, elbow, triceps, and back to the upper shoulder and back. From there it goes back on it's normal path up the spine and over the head to the nose. All that is on the out breath with root lock.
This is what is taught in chi Kung and i thought is was very similar to circulating energy that I might as well put the macro (big) cosmic orbit.
this is done by the shaolin chi Kung as well as other soft type martial arts.
I've also been researching zi fa dong gong. It means self manifested chi flow. Essentially u start circulating ur chi with chi Kung or an exercise that is almost identical to the opening hand chakras meditation here and the chi as it circulates moves ur body on it's own as long as ur very relaxed. I've heard stories of it being somewhat abrupt on rare occasion, especially if u have blockages but once they are cleared it is smooth and poetic in flow. If anyone is interested in chi Kung which is circulating ur witchpower, prana, or whatever u call it, I suggest learning these 4 forms: lifting the sky, plucking stars, pushing the mountain, and carrying the moon. It's a lot like meditating bc in working the movements you have to visualize the energy flow as u do them. Most practitioners don't understand this and just do the movements like it's some exercise.
