the weird thing is most xains are cautious about donating to christian/catholic funds cause they don't give food or clothing, they only give out bibles and the only thing bibles are good for is fires.
which is why most donate to inner-city causes or police foundations that donate allover the place.
they probably had to change there name just to keep themselves a float but i still wouldn't donate to them, there name may have changed but what they do with it still is the same.

I'd guess that the name change is also designed to fool people into donating who otherwise wouldn't because of the 'christian' appellation. Personally, I think if you are in position to donate, do it through the inner-city organizations in your area as the previous poster mentioned (I am a proponent of keeping this local up to a point)or to the huge SECULAR aid organizations such as UNICEF, Red Cross, etc. Yes, they have their problems, too, and occasional scandals rear their ugly heads, but at least you know you're not paying for the dissemination of xtian filth to people who need, first and foremost, practical help.
