Choking but not choking.

Waking up"choking" like wake up trying to gasp for breath and trying to pull a "rope" that's around your neck, but there is no rope and you're not in a struggling position..... Happened to me twice this month. Anyone knows what this is?

Yes I think it is, because I literally woke up trying to pull a rope that's making me choke and I was scratching my neck, gasping for air, but there was no rope and I wasn't in a bad bed position
