Cats and dogs were given to humanity by the Gods to be friends, companions, protectors. Dogs will protect people, protect women and children, protect farm animals. Some dogs are great at hunting, either by themselves or as teamwork with humans. Like pointers who will physically point in the direction of the bird to tell you where it is, flush it into the air for you to shoot it, and then go get it and bring it to you. Dogs will scare away and fight any predators who come near by. Many kinds will help you to get food to feed your family. Other dogs work as farmers, by pulling plows and wagons or by herding the animals. Of course dogs are trained to help people in many kinds of ways, like helping blind people to do everything, or helping people who have seizures to be able to warn the person that a seizure is about to happen and even grab the people and put their body into a safer position where there is less likely for them to become injured during the seizure. Some dogs are trained to be able to smell a cancer cell and they can tell that a person is developing cancer even before an xray or other common test could show anything. "Dog is a man's best friend."
Cats are similar. Gods gave them to humanity to be our friends. They protect people from diseases or injuries by hunting rodents. They can even hunt snakes and other possibly dangerous animals to prevent them from coming inside the home. Cats are very spiritually sensitive and powerful animals. The purring is the cat's own magical mantra healing word of power that actually has been found to directly increase the activity of the cat's bones healing, and increase the cat's immune system. Cats also often work to protect a home spiritually by defending against bad energies, bad thought forms, or even ghosts. Cats can see ghosts (if there are any there) much more sensitively than most humans could.
Even chickens and cows were given to humanity by the Gods. There are ancestors to these animals that evolved naturally on Earth, but the Gods helped to develop these animals into a form that humans could use for food. A chicken does not need to be given any food, it eats bugs and dangerous things like ticks to remove them, and for free it gives you an egg to eat every day. And the meat can be eaten also. A cow does not need to be fed, it just goes and eats grass. And it gives gallons of milk every day and also the meat. Cows also help with farming in some places by pulling plows through fields and pulling wagons. The wild ancestors of these animals are extremely different from what we have now, and it took genetic engineering and other support from the Gods to develop into what are now two of the most important species on Earth which are directly necessary for feeding enormous amount of the human population.
