Can your summoning be hindered by the Xianist presence?

Hello 
I have recently dedicated myself to Satan. HAIL SATAN!
I have then begun to try and Summon specific demons with the methods on templeofzeus.org
I have read and followed everything (candles showers prayer to satan sigil visualization etc)
My question is: Can my environment affect my ability to sense the astral plane? Would living in a devout christian household (jehovahs witness) affect my ability sensitivity? 
Here is my experience and background as to why I ask. 
First night I attempted Astaroth. All I felt at the peak of the ritual was a swirling around my head. 
The second night I tried to Summon Asmodeas. I felt less this time but in the morning as I walked out to my car a black crow perched high in a tree directly in front of my house Cawed at me repeatedly. 
I know there reasons why one could be insensitive to the gods but I felt felt supernatural things before when I was still brainwashed and I have always loved anything to do with black magic, superpowers, demons, dark arts, vampires, nephilim, fallen ones etc. 
What are your thoughts? gratitude for your time.
