can someone's aura affect my mental state?

My friend in 1st block comes to class high every single day, we sit next to each other and talk most of the class but sometimes when she's really high and/or (especially) on acid I feel kind of weird not high but not completely sober, and I really think her auras affecting me.

<td val[/IMG]I have had similar experiences. I think this may be a form of the empathic ability. You should, in my opinion, buff yourself(nerd rpg term) before hand and during by empowering your aura and creating a filed to deflect her state. I read it somewhere on the JoS site where you invision white/bright light all around you charging your body, chakras, and aura. Something i do is i compress it so it doesnt go farther than the reach a few inches obove my skin. anytime i sense someone's emotional energy or energy state encroaching me i take a few seconds to focus my energy back to the shield/armor. i also envision their warped energy being deflected back to them so as to pollute them and not me. not sure what all of that is right/needs to be refined with help from a more experienced JoS member for I'm still pretty new to this myself.

<td val[/IMG]Yes I think it can affect your mental state, so when you're next to this person try to imagine your aura as bright as the sun. Imagine your aura being tightly compressed just on top of your skin and shining brightly, bright enough to shun any negative energy approaching you. closing your chakras can also help a lot in situations
like that.
