If you don't have any previous experience with any demon then just treat them as your employers and you are an employee at best. You can also treat them as teachers and yourself a student. Give them the due respect while maintaining your own consciousness of the Self(Inwardly motivated Ego) ! They have a very complex consciousness and self-interest. But , Don't pray like the Xians used to do to their Christ ! It may get you into big troubles! Remember they are the age old entities who continue living in energy mediums and they hold the very secrets of the Universe itself !
