Just curious, were satan and the other higher spirits like us once? By which I mean carbon based life forms that eventually empowered their souls to become what they are? I'm just reading a lot about cell structure and such and don't understand how a cell under natural selection can intentionally go through a program that destroys itself, like so many do in the forming of a human being. Obviously it could make sense if the life on our planet was designed by our God's which I think I read that it was, but then something had to design them. Again, if they started out as carbon life like us.
I know it sounds stupid but this is a big source of doubt for me, reading about how cells do stuff like this makes me feel like intelligent design is the only answer.
