There is a certain teaching that's become popular amongst new agers and teachers of eastern spirituality to claim that the whole of reality is created by *YOU* i.e. you create reality with your thoughts. They're not talking about, raising and directing energy with intent and emotion with the power of your mind, as we Satanists do, they're actually talking about the gross thoughts running through your head. Popular things you'll hear them say "We're all one consciousness", "You create your own reality".
I just want to comment that I think this is a potentially devastating belief to take hold of and something everyone should be cautions of when looking for spiritual knowledge outside of the JoS.
This kind of teaching is a motivation killer. A similar thing became popular in the 1960's, the so called 'positive thinking' movement. Many of which followers have ended up in mental hospitals, suffering with neurosis.
For those who are new, yes you can use the thoughts of the conscious thinking mind, to influence the subconscious as we do with affirmations, which works as a reprogramming method. Then the subconscious uses the beliefs implanted to create an emotion and those emotions direct energy towards your desire (It may be a coincidence but I noticed the key to true manifestation is told by the keywords of the three water signs of the Zodiac, Scorpio: 'I desire'
isces 'I believe' :Cancer 'I feel')
This though is not the same as saying the thoughts rushing through your head themselves are creating reality. Additionally, the power of your mind and soul to influence the things around you is totally different from saying you basically are the whole of reality as the new age is now claiming. The power of my hand to turn on or off the TV doesn't make the TV part of me. Just like the power of your mind to raise energy and direct it to create or destroy something or someone does not make that something or someone part of you, that you were always in control of just with your "higher mind".
It's basically the same monotheism of the Judeo Xian bible but instead they're feeding your ego by telling you, this so called omnipresent, omnipotent "god" is you. Just another one of RHP corruptions amongst a long list of others.
