I found a copy in the library, but it was translated by a Ralph Manheim who is determined to make me know that Hitler was evil, evil, evil; it even shows in his text notes. The introduction was written by an Abraham Foxman, & it, too, is all about "ooo, Hitler, eeeeevil."

Is there a better translation that lets the author speak for himself, without adding unwanted commentary?

See if you can find an original copy of E.T.S. Dugdale's translation (the one on booksforsatanspeople) I found an antique one from 1937 I've been reading, it wasn't cheap though. Most of the modern versions you'll find nowadays are corrupted to fuck and not worth bothering with.
