How many times have we felt that we were masters of our own lives, that we could decide for ourselves what to do or not to do, where to go, or which direction to take in life? Then things happened to us, things whose reasons we still question: an unexpected move, the sudden loss of someone we love, the end of a relationship, losing a job when we could least afford to, an illness, or even being isolated by the society we are part of (at work, at school, within the family, and so on). All these events remind us that perhaps we do not have complete control over what happens to us.
All of this stimulates what is known as resilience. Resilience is the capacity to adaptively cope with and recover from stressful or traumatic events, drawing strength and learning from adverse experiences. This does not mean pretending that you have not suffered, nor does it mean that you will easily return to who you were before. You probably will not be the same person after these events. Everything that happens to us can help strengthen our endurance and our capacity for reflection, and teach us about our limits and the ways we react.
Nothing confronts you with who you truly are quite like pain. Each of us has an idea of what we are like, of our strengths, and sometimes we are even able to recognize our flaws. Pain strips you bare, like snow melting beneath the sun, like wind sweeping away smoke, or like a sea wave relentlessly carving into the sand.
Every experience of pain brings another layer of ourselves into the light. It is a wound we try not to look at, a blow to our personal pride when we feel strong and righteous. Often we may think that pain is not fair, why must something happen that causes so much difficulty or despair in life? But who says that all of this must necessarily be negative? Of course, when it first happens, it is devastating and destabilizing, but not every destruction is necessarily an evil. From the ashes of a house, stronger, more beautiful, and more resilient walls can be built; from a submissive character, a strength of will can emerge that is capable of withstanding any setback. Saturn is where we suffer in life, but Saturn also creates Kings and Queens, and they must face their own battle to earn their crown and become an example of strength, resilience, and tenacity.
From every situation that seems devastating to us, we are unconsciously creating a new part of ourselves; we are shaping our will to withstand that blow.
When the storm has passed and the sun shines again, you will discover a truly new part of yourselves: radiant, charismatic, and victorious.
We, as Zevists, have the Gods on our side. Although They do not spare us suffering, because it is part of existence itself, They have given us all the tools we need to face it, or to sublimate certain astrological aspects that may make these situations more likely to arise. Always remember that all of us, every single one of us, have suffered in the past, are suffering now, or will suffer for something in the future. But when things become difficult, that is when we must fight, drawing upon ourselves, our strength, and our determination to make it through. When everything seems to be falling apart, that is when we must stop, look at the beautiful things we still have, and fight for them.
It is especially important to learn how to keep our positive energies high. Through meditation, the bioelectricity of the soul will remain high, and this will prevent negative energies from gaining the upper hand. Another suggestion when you're feeling down is to go out for a walk or visit a place surrounded by nature, perhaps beside a stream, or any place where your soul finds peace and where you can be surrounded by the energies of nature. If you have a dog, you can also them for a walk and spend time playing together. This way, your mind is focused on a positive activity, the animal is happy, and they will give you positive, calming energy in return. Essentially, don't focus too much on the negatives, but do more things that are positive.
And if doing all this is not enough, ask the Gods and your Guardian Demon for help. We have Their rituals, moments in which we allow our souls to connect with Their energy and can ask for help and support. Even if hardship clouds our vision, the signs will always come. Let us free our minds and keep our eyes open.
Never give up. Warriors become heroes by fighting their own battles: be the hero of your own life. 🔥
