Ayurveda - David Frawley

Hi. I’ve started to read some of David frawley’s books on Ayurveda, though he is vegetarian and is of the opinion of most yoga teachers that no harm should be done to any human (I.e no black magic).
Is there any other recommended reading on Ayurveda or nutrition? Or is he the best to go to? Ave Zeus!
