I have mentioned this before but some more insight came to me tonight while reading HP Don's newsletter post, about Odinism.
This went worldwide... no matter what corner of the world you look to it is there.
The aboriginal people of Australia have many tales handed down from what they call 'the dreamtime'thousands of years ago and of the star people, and of a fair skinned race who came here they called the culture bearers who taught them.
One of their most common 'myths' is that of the Great Rainbow serpent. The spiritual meanings have been handed down in stories for a very long time.
I am not Aboriginal so I don't know all the details and there have been differing versions however they speak of this great powerfull serpent that travelled from the south of the country to the north...(this is important base Chakra to Crown... the journey of the serpent up the spine) and as it travelled the land it carved out the rivers (water - the lifeforce) and the rainbow colours (the chakras) and there are stories about how it sometimes swolled people up and they emerge transformed into something new, in the stories sometimes it is a boy who is swollowed and they cut the serpent open and find he has changed into a beautifull bird one story is the rainbow lorrikeet... there are many very sacred sites throughout this country.
I wish there were Aboriginal Satanists here who could shed more light into their knowledge.
Hail Satan
