It may not be disrespectful, but it is a situation you can handle on your own. I believe we schouldn't ask the Gods for help with every fleeting desire we have. I believe it is appropriate to seek help and guidance when facing a difficult situation or pursuing a life goal, a sincere request for direction et cetera...Regarding matters of this nature like ephemeral desires or passing pleasures, I think we should make an effort of our own. If the Gods bring someone into our lives, that person should be treated with a stable and long lasting friendship!
