Astral World & Body

Does anyone know where I can find some info on the Astral, how it works in more depth?
I have heard several things I need to explore a little more. Everything which is happening around us is also occuring on the Astral and anything which occurs on the Astral is bound to occur in the physical. Also the astral body is supposed to be different from the Spirit and the Spirit is supposed to be of pure consciousness/Akashic.
The Astral body I have heard is not immortal and has a limited lifespan.

So does manifestation work something like, you will your Consciousness/Awareness which is of the Spirit to a certain situation or thing which you want, the focus and energy directed there creates it in on the Astral plane, then once it's an Astral reality it's only a matter of time before it occurs in the material world?

Is all this correct? Please share your knowledge on the subject and also if you know of a book or website or anything which explains the Astral in more detail please link me to it.

Regarding your questions, I do not know the answers, unfortunately. As
for a book, check out Robert Bruce's Treatise on the Astral. I believe
that's what it's called. I didn't get a chance to read the whole
thing, but the bits I did read were pretty helpful. He's not a
Satanist, obviously, but nonetheless his info seems solid. Hope this

Arthur E. Powell has a book entitled The Astral Body and other Phenomena. Look for it on Scribd. Initiation into Hermetics has some info on it as well.

And from what I understand that is the way it works. Mental --- Astral ----- Physical.

The best source of info for that is another book by Robert Bruce, Astral Dynamics. It has very detailed description of the astral and is as a PDF file in the files section of the Hell's Army group.

The Astral is the same thing as the fourth dimension. Which is like the third dimension plus the Astral encompassing it. The Astral is like the aura or electromagnetic field of our universe. Your body too has an aura as you already know. All auras are connected to the Astral plane. So the condition of your aura in this lifetime is a reflection of your life in the Astral.

Manifestation works like this: When you have two magnets facing the same direction they pull together creating a clasping effect. Conversely when they are facing opposite directions they create this repelling effect. You can see everything as just this: things being drawn together or away from each other. Having the power to direct this depends on the drawing in of energy.
