Astral Projection and chanting Demon names

Ive been trying to astral project for a year now and i havent succeeded. None of the methods on the jos seem to help me nor does methods on the internet. I was wandering if it would be a good idea to chant a demon/ess name that helps with astral projection to achieve with astral projection. I read on the jos that chanting a demons name can be good for a goal or something to obtain for ourselves. just wanted your opinions on this and if it would be good and necessary for astral projection.

I'm not sure how close you have been to astral projecting, though this method will help if you have been able to get some parts of your body out and just can't get all the way out. I went through that for awhile and it was very frustrating.
What I found helpful is to lay on my side with something supporting my back, such as on a couch and envision yourself falling off the edge. The visualization was easy for me and the feeling of falling is also helpful to delve deeper into trance. I usually look at my body to make sure I didn't actually fall.
