My sun sign is gemini and my mercury was in gemini.Noramally whenever the sun and the moon are both in gemini I like to tap that for extra jolt of mercurial influence in certain types of spells.I've heard that this year mercury has been in retrograde since the 7th of may and is going to be all the to the 30th.Is that correct?Since gemini is a mercurial sign,should I skip what I usually do this year and if I proceeded would it get all screwed up?......................shadowwhispr

Your dates regarding mercury in retrograde are correct.

A while back when Venus was in retrograde, a friend of mine wanted to do a love spell and I advised her to wait until the retrograde was over. It's much better to do things *with* the planets rather than against them.

The sun doesn't leave Gemini until June 21st, and Gemini goes into Mercury on June 16. My advice: wait until June 16th, then use a website like cafeastrology.com to find out when the moon will be in Gemini between June 16 and June 20th (The moon might not actually be in Gemini between those 5 days, but if it is, then you'll have the Sun, the Moon, and Mercury in Gemini for your spell).
