What can be done to sublimate or at the very least minimize the negative energies of a Saturn ruler?

Thank you!

My chart ruler is Saturn.
Yes, I have went through much of suffering.
But with Saturn being your ruler you understand the meaning of Saturn's suffering and discipline better than anyone and with discipline and hard work you can make yourself the most successful, hardworking, grounded and strong person.
This is why people with Saturn as a ruler respond to its energy differently. It also gets better when you get older and use this energy to build something.
While people had Saturn in their 1st house that was the worst years in their lives, having Saturn through my 1st house was one of the most positive, transformative, and productive years of my life.
Hardwork, responsibility, and suffering can be sublimated and people with Saturn rulers understand this energy the most and how to use it.
When you get older it gets even better. You start to feel no suffering. It doesn't necessarily get easier. But you get stronger, so much stronger.
The best thing that can happen to a Capricorn is to grow up. But before they can reap the rewards they will have to see much of suffering and a generally hard life during their youth before they carve themselves up.

wow.
sir mercury_wisdom
your “soft” comment is a reflection of the delirium of so much misfortune that happened to you on this filthy planet, pretending that there is something good in this imbalance of context, which you struggled to free yourself from
it's wanting to survive and not having the option of something better, since you made it, congratulations
but saying that is one of the best things in life…
i think people would admire it and be grateful to have it.
This is exactly what I'm talking about here. You having a strong Saturn influence makes you more pessimistic than the average person, and learning Astrology caused you to think this way.Yurei said:But what if you're like me an Saturn is your chart ruler? Saturn gives lasting success (anything that lasts), responsibility, hard work, humility, grounding, mental and physical toughness, strength, and maturity.
Also, if you read the Astro pdf from Pythia. She explained a part of this. People that have weak or no aspects from Saturn can have serious weaknesses, lack of grounding in their personality. It easily causes or supports insanity to have a weak Saturn or no aspects from it. Most serial killers, child rapists, schizos have no Saturn aspects that humble their Neptunes or Jupiters, etc.
Well, besides the stuff for movies, lol. Saturn does rule lasting wealth and effective money-management.nebu said:mercury_wisdom said:There is no good or evil here. These are forces of nature. correct about there being no good or evil here
even because the indirect context is extreme
about examples of billionaires and success stories, the biggest determining factor was people being ruled by saturn?
or are they an exception?
is it a kind of blessing that there will be something very good after the flood of years in life?
i understand the OK and BALANCED role of saturn
my point is, generally speaking and also with the average person, being undermined by saturn makes for a great story, for movies
because the mental regencies and circumstances that you are led to, work like a snowball to spin the suffering, and it has a limit to a person's sanity, apart from consequences when you maybe start to breathe what is a jupiter
Stormblood said:I think there are mainly two polarities when it comes to people with Saturn as their chart ruler:
 on one side, the eternally immature who see everything who remotely resembles discipline, responsibility and commitment as a chore and something to be avoided at all costs. Those who live for the short term and have a careless, yolo attitude to life, relationships with others, and themselves. Those who give up the moment an obstacle is presented, and hardcore ignore problems. Too many people nowadays are closer to this extreme due to enemy curses and social engineering. They may or not have experienced hardship in life, and these were mainly of their own undoing because of a toxic mindset.
 on the opposite side, those who acquired wisdom and are mentally adults, accepting there are challenges in life and that Saturn blesses you by embracing them and problem-solving, rather than escaping from them. People closer to this side of the spectrum are extremely few and I've met none, due to enemy curses and social engineering.
In my experience, the closer you get to the negative side of this, the more people ruled by Saturn you find; the further you get, the less people until there's nobody as only the Gods are fully mature nowadays.
It may sound harsh but those who see Saturn as extremely and exclusively negatively is usually because they don't want to grow up and want an easy life which doesn't exist. An easy life is not natural, as you don't grow out of luck: you grow by overcoming challenges. The more difficult the challenges, the more growth. Saturn gives you the challenges you need to grow in life so you can develop wisdom. If you adjust yourself to face them and learn from them, you'll see the blessing this is as you'll be working with nature. If you complain all the time and do nothing to raise yourself beyond the obstacle, you'll have no growth and stay exactly where you are, suffering.
The wrong mindset and approach will keep you facing the same issue over and over and over again, seeing it as an obstacle. If someone has overcome a situation, overcoming it again may be easier to the experience until it comes a point where you will no longer feel threatened when the situation presents itself and you'll handle it as easily as brushing your teeth.
Many people struggle because they don't want to face things that are difficult. Change is difficult for everyone but that's not a reason to shy away from it. Many people also think that using the same approach that didn't work countless other times is going to yield a different result just because you're "enduring it". That's not really how it works. If you keep trying to hammer a nail into the wall with a teaspoon, it's never going to happen. Get a hammer, watch out for your fingers, and the job can be done.
I know many people are going to read this and be outraged, both users and lurkers. But this reality. You only make things worse for yourself by using the wrong approach, whether you are avoiding hardship or approaching an issue the wrong way. You're not doing yourself any favour. Take a few minutes to think, meditate on the matter, meditate on your issues. Which one can you solve now? Which ones have a lower priority and you can deal with later? Is there anything different/better I could in regards to the current issues? Yes? No? Am I sure? Maybe I'll ask someone else to get a fresh perspective? Am I asking the right person, meaning someone who has actually struggled with this and overcame it in the past, somebody who used a different approach that I could consider and see if it would work in my life?
Support is always available on this forums. Many knowledgeable people can provide you with different perspective to think about and you got nothing to lose by test-running some of them when your approach is just not yielding results. Example: you're stuck at a deadbeat job, barely making ends meet, but your goal is to be wealthy. Will you get rich by staying in that job for decades, advancing to a senior position and investing when you are already not making millions? Either you won't or when you'll do you will be too old for it to have any major significance. This is just an example.
Many times, also, all is need is to be open to the fact your approach to anything may be wrong. If your life is nearly a carbon copy of the average NPC in your age range except for spirituality, then there's definitely something wrong for example. The average NPC in your age range does not have a Zevist life. They are stuck in a deadbeat job that they most likely hate, their relationships are shallow, they spend all their non-work time in recreational activities, and cannot even manage their finances appropriately. Does that lead anywhere? Does that lead you to better yourself in all areas, even with adding a meditation schedule? Sure you'll have some improvement that way, but that's far from having a Zevist life where you need to elevate all the areas of life.
Saturn is only negative in two instances:
 you don't want to grow up, so you make things unnecessarily and exponentially more difficult for yourself by avoiding problems or taking them on in wrong/half-assed or otherwise ineffective way
 someone uses its energies to curse you or you accidentally tap into the negative spectrum of its energies in ways different from the first instance presented here
If Saturn is your chart ruler, here are some tips that will make your life easier in most cases:
 have an organised approach to life with schedules, short-term and long-term planning, regular reviews of your progress. This needs to be applied to every area of your life. Life, power and wisdom happen by organising chaos.
 take care of your body: hygiene, fitness, nutrition, etc. Getting your energies going in the morning with yoga and fitness will make you less pessimistic and more productive. Wake up early, go to bed early whenever possible
 have goals to work toward and look forward to, in every areas of life
 use operant conditioning to reward and punish yourself accordingly as a result of your actions. "Punishment" doesn't involve any physical harm, as that's not healthy. Think more in terms of deprivation. For example "I haven't accomplished enough today, so I have no right to eat that ice cream or play that videogame or buy this trinket or whatever along those lines"
 For the most part, avoid making excuses. I know an overwhelming amount of people who thinks it's okay to continuously procrastinate and talk yourself out of doing beneficial things for yourself with the long-term in mind, not the instant gratification. So learn to say 'no' to yourself and others, when short term benefits are outweighed by the long-term ones. Occasionally (i.e. a couple of times a year), it's okay to make up excuses but it shouldn't be a daily habit. Procrastination and instant gratification very easily worsen people's mental health rather than improving it.
 Be consistent and keep up momentum in what's positive
These tips are helpful for everyone but those with Saturn chart ruler or co-ruler will benefit even more, making their life easier. Saturn is what makes you successful and keeps you successful in life.
Look at what sign is in your first house on your natal chart.
