Not necessarily. But they have had just more examples of connectedness over the years. Many behave equal or lower than animals but they are kept together by another medium range people that are mostly on the good side. It's just that the baseline average has been higher than most others.
As the current Yuga accelerates, the fall on the lowest levels of consciousness will be commonplace and nobody will be exempt.
These positive behaviors my fellows exhibit for the most part are due to spiritual advancement once upon a time, that is passed inter=generationally. If this procedure is stopped, eventually [not at once, but over centuries or thousands of years] any lifeform will return on a beast of burden level, despite of how they are or what they do.
