Are Chakras “built”?

I’ve recently watched a video by a man who studied the kundalini and chakras according to how the yogis taught it.

It’s this video if anyone’s interested:

In it he essentially says that the chakras don’t really exist in someone but are focal points where spiritual energy is concentrated by the mind, sort of like a helpful model the yogis constructed. Overtime they’re built in the soul and achieve a tangible existence.

It makes me wonder if this is why alternative models to the chakras like the sephirots also worked and allowed hebrew rabbis to develop abilites similar to the yogis. As long as proper focal points are placed and built over time, the magickal soul will be constructed to house planetary and Divine energies, and the benefits from that will follow.

Of course that wouldn’t mean any system would work, it would have to be constructed with occult knowledge in mind.

Is this true or was this man’s interpretation of the yogis wrong?

The more you put your consciousness on the Chakras, the more these chakras "awake". This is called "awakening of the Kings" (who are presented as deceased). The "coming to life" is because you are unconscious of the chakras and their operation; when you meditate, you become conscious of them.

This is why the Awareness Meditations are in the Temple of Zeus, so you literally awake the soul. The soul before meditation is equalized with being in a dormant state. If something is in passive state, it doesn't exist as part of your conscious mind, only as part of your unconscious mind.

Typically speaking, the 7 Chakra system is accurate; everyone follows it because the points are literally 7 points in the material body. The Yogic system is good, but there is better. The Ancient Greeks followed a 13 Chakra System. These will be released later on, but without the core of the 7 chakras, nothing can truly emerge spiritually.
