Update 2: The Forums Will Have To Be Moved & Updated

Everything will have to be moved yet again, to ensure a better and upgraded forum and not these issues. Thank you to all of those who support the ToZ.

We have been trying for two days straight to no avail to solve the issues on that forum, so we decided to upgrade and move to even better things.

No worries, the forum will be better than before, faster and so on. It will take a few days but we are already restlessly on it.

I will keep you updated here. If you temporarily see the forums being down, do not be alarmed.

However, the forums here should remain 100% function as we are making the move, so do not worry. We will try to do this without no downtime, ie, forums will not get down for any given time or anything.

Greetings to all of our Zevist Family,

As all of you have been noticing, the forums have been slow and problematic lately. We have checked into the reasons, all the way from the core infrastructure to hacking attempts, and it appears it’s a blend of a few things. We are doing our best to solve all of this, yet there appears to have been some sort of file damage as well, which might require more drastic measures.

No posts will be lost or anything, but there is a chance we might be changing forum software. The address will remain the same as always, www.ancient-forums.com will continue the Zevist legacy of course and remain the same, but we will have to update to something more fresh as the technology it currently runs onto, appears to cause issues.

We will not embark in any changes without formally informing everyone, so everyone knows how it’s going to be.

There were no such issues a week ago, which has us wondering. The Gods and our technical experts know for a fact we have taken the highest level infrastructure as well for member satisfaction and now this problem, which shouldn’t exist, does, making navigation difficult. Theoretically it shouldn’t have been happening.

If anyone is a PHP programmer or SQL expert, please message me at [ email redacted ] so you can help in examinations. For those who know, it’s database altering moves such as moderation or creation or deletion of messages, that procure the main error.

Even if we manage to fix this, we will look into the transfer and improvement of the platform regardless in due time.

Is it feasible to reduce the search limit to two? Some important abbreviations are limited to two characters and are thus unsearchable because of this restriction. An example is "Zevism"

In any case, I am looking forward to the forum's upcoming updates, especially if there will be visual ones.

I think Xenforo would be a good option. It is very secure in terms of protection and you can add anything you want with various add-ons.

I noticed for quite some time now. The forums have been laggy. There's been a few times I wasn't even able to log into my account and already fear I may have to make another account because of this as. I don't even remember the Email link to this account. My account usually logs in automatically by itself With the click of a button. the password. Automatically inserted we'll see what happens i suppose, i really hope i dont have to make another account due to this

The light for the people lost in darkness through the will of the gods. So thank you. I noticed these issues lately myself.. sometimes it says my account does not exist when I try to log in.. all will be better soon keep it up you guys.

I have been wondering about what happened to the Forums. I definitely look forward to the upgrade and improvement. The JoS is really going through some transformations as of late, which is wonderful to see firsthand. This year, the Year of the Dragon, will be quite exciting!

ما دو روز متوالی در تلاش بودیم تا مشکلات آن انجمن را حل کنیم، بنابراین تصمیم گرفتیم ارتقاء دهیم و به موارد بهتری برویم.
