2) If the Iron Cross symbolizes the 3 Granthi in this picture; It is instead the Sacral, Throat and Crown Chakras.Osiris Silvio said:Back to the Ida and Pingala, the Pingala (sun or yang) stems from the kanda, heart, or pelvic area and runs from the base of the spine up to the right nostril. Therefore, the right nostril is associated with the masculine and the left hemisphere of the brain. The Ida runs from the base of the spine to the left nostril, known as the moon, the feminine, or the yin and is associated with the right hemisphere of the brain and the left nostril and left side of the body.
High Priestess Pythia said:Given the experiences of many, it appears that the three granthis [knots where the chakra concerned has a powerful energy block that prevents the serpent from ascending] are not at the base, heart, and sixth chakras as popularly taught, but are at the second [sacral] chakra, the throat chakra, and the crown chakra. There have been many accounts of one's heart chakra feeling a burning sensation; as the serpent cannot ascend any further due to a blocked throat chakra.

The iron crosses symbolise the chakras with four major extensions, the first has the hips, the fourth has the shoulders and the sixth has the temples, while the rest of the chakras except the seventh have only two major extensions, front and back. If you look at the first chakra from above (e.g.) you will see a shape similar to the iron cross.Korpi said:
High Priestess Pythia said:Now, if the heart chakra were blocked and contained one of the three granthis, the burning sensation would manifest in the solar chakra, not the heart. Going further, the sensation of the crawlies near the crown chakra strongly indicates that chakra is blocked. If it were the 6th chakra as most sources of information available inform us, the sensation would be at the throat or BENEATH the 6th chakra. From direct experience, it appears that seventh is the most difficult chakra to fully open. The sensation of the crawlies, compared by some to ants crawling, indicates that the serpentine energy is going *around* the seventh chakra and not *through* it as it should when this chakra has been fully opened. Other symptoms include pain and discomfort, especially when one's serpentine energy is fully activated.
The crown must be fully opened for the serpent to correctly ascend.
VoiceofEnki said:As for the three granthis, these are located in the sacral, throat and crown. The shoulder chakra's allign with the throat, the hip chakra's allign with the sacral and the temple chakra's are located between the 6th and crown chakra's, which is where the third granthi is located, right before the crown, and beyond the 6th chakra.
Piercing the third granthi makes opening the crown very quick, as this is the last blockage preventing energy from properly passing to the crown.

HP. Zevios Metathronos said:The Granthi on the head is the region of the temples - pineal/center of the brain complex. This is where the Grandhi is. When properly removed this creates a situation where the 7th chakra can operate more flawlessly and without impediment.

The Granthi (Knots) halt the Ascension of the Kundalini Serpent.
The Side Extensions of the Base, Center and Sixth are positioned above the chakra(s) from which they extend.
Located between the 1st and 2nd, 4th and 5th, 6th and 7th.

I actually have to thank you for the posts you mentioned, they opened my eyes to the use of the hip, shoulder, temple chakras.Korpi said:

I was thinking of an improvement for my work, if like in the image of the Yehuborim soul in the thread linked above, I added circles around each chakra and within these circles I wrote the names of the Gods representing each chakra or the planet/element/etc.?Vira_ said:

Or even other simpler things, such as sexuality/emotion/root/etc... ?
Obviously the circles do not encompass the chakra, the chakra remains larger.
This is just for decoration, just to have more artistic versions representing the potential person of the Gods soul.
I tried and it did not come out well, one day I will be able to express the human soul to the fullest, but for now I am taking a break from this, when inspiration returns I will get to work.AFODO said:No, the triangles are okay. Maybe add a shenu ring around the entire soul.
I think I understand why this might be a good idea.Vira_ said:...

In the first drawing, the first chakra is underground, because it is the root chakra and its element is earth, as for the second it is water.Baroness Blossom said:I always dreamed of something like this. but there were red roses on the ground.

I realise, but the difficulty is precisely that each chakra is incredibly detailed, and then shrunk down to fit into the picture.AFODO said:

I never knew. Thanks!Stormblood said:Korpi said:
Regarding Ida and Pingala, I actually re-read Lady Pythia's sermons from 2010 and she stated the Ida controls the right nostril and Pingala the left nostril. The switch happens after the throat. It make sense since head and body are like 2 separate entities. So, Osiris Silvio is wrong in that post when he mentions the nostrils.
The iron crosses are supposed to represents side and front extensions of root, middle and head, as far as I know. Not the granthis. That's what I use them for in meditation and it's really empowering.
