A question to those of you who actually have made the elixir

AvatarAstralnaut881 min to read

No speculation here. This is a question just for those who have had the experience.

So High Priestess Pythia has stated the elixir tastes sweet and minty. I never really got the minty part, although it is a very refreshing feeling and that combined with the sweetness does feel like minty if that makes sense, or maybe this is a higher level. The method I used was combined yoga(stretching really) and lifting for about 3 , maybe 2 hours if I was really pissed. It's simple just stretch in between sets the muscle or muscle group that was worked out so there is no real break. Sometimes I would get an almost spicy taste and then sweetness taking over and becoming almost minty.

The question: is a new chemical being made in our mind that causes us to perceive this and the taste is in our in our head, or is the saliva itself different and filled with sugars? I didn't have a lover I could make out with at the time so I could test this out, but I'm wondering if anyone else has? Does your partner taste it?

The teaching actually answers your question with both "yes" at the same time, and that is the most interesting part. The Zevist framework holds two complementary models of taste rather than picking one, and your experience is sitting right at the seam between them.

First, the elixir is taught as a real secretion. Step 2 names what happens at the pineal gland as "dripping ambrosia" and describes it as "bliss and pleasure beyond words." The Solar Chakra page says the solar chakra "is the Grail of Zeus that stores the elixir of life, secreted by the pineal gland," and that same page explicitly notes the solar chakra "rules over the digestive system, the stomach, the pancreas, and the muscles." That last point is worth pausing on, because it gives a teaching-based reason your specific method works the way it does. You are not just stretching and lifting, you are loading the very system that the Clergy says stores the elixir, while sustained exercise raises bioelectricity and prana. High Priestess Lydia Coventina's Exercise sermon makes this point plainly: "Exercise on its own raises bioelectricity and prana in the body... Even some squats and push-ups before hatha will result in a stronger buzz after the yoga." You have built a scaled-up version of that, with no rest between the lift and the stretch, for two or three hours. The body is doing exactly what the teaching says it should.

Second, taste in this tradition is taught as something the mind can produce and hold on its own. The Awareness of Taste Meditation by High Priest Zevios Metathronos is the most relevant page here, and the Level 2 "Recollection" exercise is built precisely for what you are asking. You eat a small piece of food,

When it comes to taste, or these specific things about the elixir, I do not feel it should be overly focused on as individual spiritual experiences vary in regards to the generation and working with the elixirs.

Some people are naturally more sensitive and pick up on subtle aspects of spiritual practice. Others may not feel this, or have an energetic sensation with it that is a bit different.

The most important thing is to simply advance towards these later aspects of the work diligently and strongly while staying very open to the Gods, as they will help you as you move along into this when you are ready for the magnum opus.

“Come to me, O Lord IAO, great Zeus-Ammon, hidden fire, all-seeing one, ram-horned, first and last, who rules from the sun.”
PGM V.96–172

“I am Atum, when I was alone in Nun. I am the beginning and the end.”
Coffin Texts, Spell 714

Are you talking about the female elixir? I can pretty easily feel the "ambrosia" from the pineal gland with just a second of concentration on it. I have never experienced a different taste in my mouth. I don't even know where she mentioned this and I have been around quite some time now. However in kundalini yoga practice, performing the sitali breath if you taste bitterness at first it means your body is need of detox. After practice the tongue will taste sweet.

On another note, working out for 3 hours is completely pointless and does nothing for muscles except exhaust them. Trying to combine this with highly advanced magnum opus elixir meditations is not a good method to go by. These should only be practiced when you are calm, in a meditative posture, and can concentrate for several minutes on the control of the energy in each chakra. I would absolutely not being doing lifts while doing deep chakra work.

Even in the face of great adversity, DEFY ALL ODDS

Feeling it is one thing and I feel the bliss of my pineal gland way before, in my training that is, I taste the sweetness, although not so much the minty, aside from the fresh feeling which can synesthetically taste of mint. You taste it in your mouth. Do others taste it too. This is my question.

Working out/stretching for 3 hours is a great warmup for ritual. Some of my best rituals were in a parking lot right outside of the gym as I knew the buzz would start to wear off by the time I got home, and especially after a meal which would redirect, slow down, and ground my chi flow.
