A question for HPHC about Egyptian concept

I've been very curious for some time now about some of the Egyptian parts of the soul. It seems the Norse may have had something similar with concepts like the fylgja and the shape (a person's shape was considered part of their soul apparently, and was supposedly utilized in shapeshifting).

What I'm specifically curious about is the Egyptian part of the soul that was called the shadow. I want to know as much about it as possible, and I'm wondering if the shadow can be empowered like how we empower our auras (which is another part of the soul).
