A question about the talismans

I've been searching for talismans for a while now and I'm very interested. Is there any source other than jos or jos that you suggested to get information about the talismans? Frankly, I couldn't find information in jos except Salem Burke and a few forum topics. :?

Also, I am pretty sure there's a section on the JOS to energize objects but I can't seem to find it right now.
At least, I know some have spoken about this before and gave clear instructions on how to do it.
