Hello to all my dear brothers and sisters; I am seeking to improve my intelligence and reach my intellectual peak. Aside from dealing with a Mercury square, I am looking to perform spiritual work involving the 3rd and 9th houses. I plan to work on the square involving the ruling planet of my 3rd house; however, the ruler of my 9th house is Pluto. I am unsure how to approach this, given that Pluto is a very intense planet, and I don't know of a safe way to harness its characteristics without risking danger. What should I do? Is there something else I could use—something safe—that would have a similar effect and help me improve my 9th house?

The rune Eiwaz also allows you to harness energies similar to that of Pluto. Kenaz is good for intellect too. Pluto rules Scorpio, so I would imagine that beginning a working with Eiwaz under a Scorpio moon would be beneficial for harnessing quasi-plutonian energy.
