what can i do to not be ashamed or shy? many people might just say "do it" but it's not that easy, sometimes something holds me back... i wish i wasn't ashamed or didn't care about other people's opinions. I'd like to be uninhibited sometimes, I'm young and I'd like to enjoy it, especially when it comes to flirting with someone, singing along with my friends or making jokes.

You may have a debilitated Sun/Solar plexus. (the sun rules confidence and strength etc.)

In general, you should probably check for any bad sun, mercury, neptune, and saturn placements in your natal chart.

Other than that, starting off by being honest with yourself is a great idea. Judging by the fact that you made this thread you already made some progress.

A lack of confidence can also be caused by how you were raised or treated by others, if your parents didn't give you enough affection or were absent in your life you may have developed a lack of self-esteem. If this is the case, whether neglected by parents or peers, you need to stop making that control you; you aren't what others think of you.. You are yourself.

In short, cleanse your Sun, whether that be with sun squares or meditations directed towards your solar plexus, and try to love yourself. You're worth it.

Whatever problem you might be having with your sun or your solar chakra can be fixed or sublimated. As for all the examples given of affliction and possibilities of problems manifesting there are people from all walks of life either having the misfortune of one extreme or the other or falling somewhere in the middle. Whatever the case maybe with you, you have the knowledge as an SS to have your sun, your ego and personality manifest in healthy positive ways for you that are also beneficial for others.

Planetary squares and runic workings, and even a freeing the soul working beforehand may be necessary in helping with any problems connected to your sun. Cleaning your chakras in general is essential. Affirmations associated with having a healthy sense of identity and self awareness can go a long way, as well as a mentality to want to seriously better one self.

I solved it in two ways: 1) Surrounding myself with people who supported me and promoted my true good; and 2) Proving to myself that I was worth something by taking care of myself and doing productive things. I believe that the combination of these two things can greatly solve problems like the ones you are experiencing.

Do work that is masculine and empowering like trades or construction, or join a martial art or the military. The solar energy from a masculine environment will rub off on you and help you learn to express yourself.
