Dear fellow Zevists,
I was born with Saturn in the 6th house in Pisces. I’m now completing a square that began when the Sun was in Leo, with the affirmation: “In a positive and healthy way for me, my overall physical health is powerfully resilient and not sensitive or easily bothered, now and forever.” My question is — do I need to continue affirming for a total of 40 days, perhaps with a solar rune like Sowilo, so that the square equals 40 days and becomes permanent? Thanks again!

Do the planetary square for as long as it tells you to do it, which is 36 days.

If you're doing a working using the Sun then do it for 40, 80, 90 or a whole year to make the changes you desire permanent.

If you do less than 40 and stop then the working cancels itself out.

I am not answering your question on a square, sorry. I only comment your statement on the beautiful astrological statement.

I wish to remind you first and foremost that according the available rectification in the internet, Saturn in 6th house belongs to some most healthy people such as BKS Iyenger. And this is not one person with great health, long life and painless death that I saw with Saturn in 6th. Saturn can be greatest force especially for Zevist who does yoga and tai chi / 24/7. Having anything powerful (Saturn, Mars, Pluto or any higher planets) in 6th is great because 6th is about work and self discipline, study, career, everything we so love and which is so great about us: all our normal spiritual and physically spiritual practices: yoga routine, breathing technics, all chaolin kung fu, tai chi, qi gong, falun gong and endless practices of Chinese Taoist Alchemy, TCM etc. All so sweet things we usually love, all kind of inner style work in martial arts, all kind of spiritual work with body. Maybe becoming TCM healer, reiki and acupuncturist yourself especially with Martial planets such as Mars. Greatest achievements might be made with gravitative 6th, by gravitation I mean stelliums, power planets, higher planets, critical degrees etc. (all being Rx first and foremost) what people usually consider "problems" and what is in reality talents and powers, Saturn being the first in this list, especially Rx one.

Saturn in higher octave always gives extremely high pure energies to the house it stands in. In 5th it would not let people go whoring around, in 6th it would not let people lead unhealthy self destructive lifestyle, in 10th - it would not let their life stay useless or unimportant, etc. If people insist on doing it wrong Saturn is known to punish them, and the lower octave comes.
