I am not sure but I think Demeter 'became' Mary and Zeus 'became' Jesus. The enemy changed Daimon/Daemon to Demon and Devi/Deva to Devil.

Mary is indeed called Theotokos, Queen of the Stars, Ever-virgin and Perfect among women, which are titles that Astarte/Aphrodite had.
Titles of Jesus come from many mythologies and Gods, he has some from Horus, some from Osiris, Jesus is from Ie-Zeus, "savior" and "shepherd" are Apollo, etc.

But this only means some of their symbolism is stolen. This risks implying "Astarte became Mary" and that "these are just new interpretations", which is New Age and disagrees with the Zevist understanding that these are programs meant to bastardize Gentile religion and the Gods.
