Primarily, clairvoyance is associated with the Pineal Gland, Sixth Chakra and the Third Eye, followed by expanded awareness and consciousness. Clairvoyant experiences tend to occur when certain areas of the brain slow down and become more synchronized, where one typically enter trance-related brainwave states such as alpha, theta, delta, or even gamma. This altered state allows the practitioner access to non-linear perception, where impressions of the past or future may arise.
Interestingly, many clairvoyants describe mental 'pictures' or 'scenes' that align with activity in the occipital lobe (visual cortex), which is the region responsible for processing visual imagery, even with the eyes closed. The hippocampus also plays a key role in retrieving and reconstructing memory, which supports the generation of inner visions, including intuitive flashes that may be tied to psychic memory or other paranormal phenomena.
Clairvoyant experiences are often different for everyone. Some people see vivid images, others may hear clearly (clairaudience), sense symbols, feel emotions, or simply 'know.' It depends on the individual’s brain, intuition, level of consciousness, and how they naturally perceive inner information - through their soul.
