Personally I don't like it, I prefer "artistic luxury". But it's my visual preference, also because having money to spend I would prefer to spend it on martial arts courses, military manuals, studies of various kinds, means to have privacy to meditate even more, etc. and not on golden sofas. But if you ask me what my tastes are, visually I prefer things that are sumptuous, but not in bad taste.
