Other #75604 daydreams

so many placements on my chart support daydreaming tendencies and it is making me discouraged. I've been trying to get rid of them completely and its gotten somewhat better, in a sense that my previous completely made up world disappeared, and.. a new one was created in the process. im starting to think i might be insane. i know void is the answer and it helps but not for long. I'll have to give it some time and see but i genuinely am starting to see a very difficult and lengthy way out.
if anyone has experience, please just let me know how long it took you to solve it. i know the answer isnt in days, I'd be happy to hear 2 years if it truly went away after you worked for so long

Daydreaming will never fully go away. It is the result of a healthy brain. However, when Daydreaming becomes excessive it can even be considered an addiction.

That is the case with Maladaptive Daydreaming, in which the person walks around, physically acting in their own daydream, maybe even whispering or talking, which can go on for hours at an end, and when interrupted, the person feels the urge to get back at it, tho being fully aware it is just daydreaming, created by themselves, creating complex situations with multiple people, usually to cope with loneliness or depression.

So, unless you are in that state of daydreaming, you'll be fine. If Daydreaming becomes an addiction, such as the above, you can use other things to keep yourself entertained, such as meditating, walking, going to the gym, and bettering yourself so much you don't have time for excessive daydreaming. Meditation in itself will, in time, solve the problem. But daydreaming from time to time during the day is harmless, and even healthy.
