Headaches with spiritual work

When performing spiritual work on specific areas of the head, if I'm not mistaken, headaches can sometimes occur. If I take a headache medication, will the work and the ongoing spiritual effect be nullified?

No, and medication is useless because these are the side-effects of activating dormant parts of the brain and soul. Medication is useful for physical ailments, however. Training the brain is not a physical ailment, but a form of exercise.
