Beyond Summoning: The Hidden Function of Goetia Kings as Internal Forces

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on the Goetia not just as external spirits to be summoned and commanded, but as deep internal forces — energies that, when recognized, can be absorbed and awakened within the self.

Take Bael, for example — often referred to as the King of Invisibility. Traditionally, he's invoked to become unseen. But maybe invisibility isn’t just about physical absence. Maybe it’s the art of becoming untouchable through detachment, moving through influence rather than confrontation.

In that sense, Bael’s power isn't just to vanish — it’s to rule from silence. A force that exists between presence and shadow.

I’ve started archiving personal notes and interpretations about the Goetia, focusing on understanding each of them not as tools of control, but as keys of internal dominion — almost like living sigils within us.

What you wrote here are pretty good thoughts just be careful about information about our Gods outside of ToZ.
Try to decipher the God rituals and information presented on the ToZ rather, and to their ritual and ask for guidance and understanding about them (Thoth ritual is #1 for this). And obviously you can do research about ANCIENT Gods, just be careful with "Goetia" and "left hand path" specifically. Better to rely on ancient information such as Greek, Roman, etc.

They are not only corrupted but blasphemous to the gods. the information is twisted and must be studied only after you have really opened yourself to be able to see and understand the truth. Best ask one of the HP's before going further with this. The Goetica has been known to drive people nuts. please use common sense and a whole house full of caution. The HP's can tell you from experence the kind of subtle spells in that thing that can try to ensnare the reader... please be careful.

I'm still very new and learning my way around both the material and the forum structure. I didn’t mean any disrespect or confusion — I’m just trying to absorb as much as I can and sometimes I make beginner mistakes.

I’m still learning and I truly appreciate you pointing me in the right direction. I’ll focus more on the information from ToZ, and I’ll take a deeper look into the Thoth ritual like you suggested.

I’ll also be more careful about outside sources like Goetia and the modern LHP paths. My intention is to connect with the Gods in the right way, and your advice really helps me stay on track.

I really appreciate you taking the time to explain this clearly. I understand now that the Goetia is extremely dangerous and twisted, and I definitely won’t try anything from it.

I'm still learning and want to make sure I’m doing things the right way, so I’ll stay focused on the ToZ materials and rituals that are safe and clean. I’ll also take your advice to heart about reaching out to an HP before diving into anything deeper.

your welcome brother/sister. I fully understand the intense desire to learn everything around especially when it comes to the spritual realm. Thank you for heeding my warning and understaning that i'm trying to look out for your welfare not berate. I've had many dismiss my warnings in the past. I don't know what happened to those people but I hope you have a long fruitful journey on this path. There is so much to learn and see especially of the ancient ways. it's part of why ancient egyptian documentarys fascinate me.
Perhaps one of the HPs can recommend a list of good books for you to get going with? I know that both HP Maxine and HP Cobra have read a small librarys worth of books. back in the day she use to talk about spending hours in some library pouring over different books figuring out truth from fiction.
