Why didn't it work?

What do you mean the Gods assured you they would help? Are you sure you didnt just make an assumption on the matter? As for why they didn't help I am going to be totally honest, I personally don't think the Gods are overly concerned with playing matchmaker outside of truly exceptional circumstances, perhaps if a Guardian or above asked they would but some things the Gods expect us to handle on our own and romance is one of them, they have already given us through the ToZ plenty of tools on our own to aid us in this.

As for your offer, you have to understand the Rituals benefit you more than they benefit the Gods, the Rituals themselves are a gift the Gods have given through HPZM, promising to do the Rituals is kind of like promising that you will let them give you an interest free loan, its not them who are receiving a benefit its you, also its kind of considered the bare minimum that a Zevist should do in order to be a Zevist.

Next time try instead asking just one God in particular, do their Ritual but this time ask them to help you develop into the sort of man that can find a happy and healthy relationship, the Gods arent very interested in just giving us stuff we want, they are however very interested in teaching us how to get the stuff we want, they only straight up give things in very exceptional circumstances.

And lastly the Gods prize liberty and free will very highly, if a person is simply not interested in you the Gods will not change that, its not their way and it goes against their desires to force or compel the will of others for such purposes, this is particularly true of women and matters of sexuality.

Also remember these are almost unfathomable Deities of Ancient wisdom and extreme power, they aren't really beings you barter with, you can make an offering and ask for something in return but you cannot make demands of them or expect them to agree to something, the offering you give is frankly speaking to be expected of you, you asking for something in return isnt a deal, its a request and they can and will say no to certain requests for any number of reasons.

Hmm people think that not being able to get engaged to a specific girl is a condemnation.
The truth is that many people succeed in getting engaged to specific people. After 10 years they discover that they wasted their time and could have spent the same amount of time on a better person who would have made them happier in this 20 percent of life.

Have you just fallen in love with a girl or do you know for a fact that this girl would have been something really positive for your life? It is useless to ask the Gods to put us in situations that in the moment make us happy but are insignificant and to do it just for the sake of it.

We don't really know who our romantic interest is, 99% of people don't even know themselves, what do they know about others realistically? It's okay of course to cast love spells and put yourself out there for a potentially interesting girl. But one should not think of the Gods as determinants in a role of unrequited love.

Because not everyone is destined to join and be a Zevist and she may not even be compatible with you, the Gods use their energy where they see it most necessary and important.

HPS Lydia said what the effects of a love spell are in another post. The Gods won't force someone to love you. You should be more broad in what you asking such as help find a good partner. Plus the girl you are into might me wrong for you or completely out of your league. You said you have no chance with her, so why would the Gods force such a girl to like you? I know it hurts to hear, you should try find someone that compatible with you and try to make yourself better for the right girl.

Somebody tried a love spell on me, all it did was result in me knowing they tried it, because I felt it and understood what was happening. I did not feel any emotions to that person, because I could see right through the spell.

I'm answering honestly so nobody here panics thinking someone might do a love spell on them and make them obsessed or anything.

If you do a love working to bring someone to you, not a specific person but in general, then it could bring you a real relationship.

Doing a love working on a specific person can increase feelings of infatuation, but it will probably fade if you are not compatible for the long-term. And then they'll be left wondering why they fell for you in the first place.
