Satanama

The correct way to vibrate Satanama and Satanas is with the S being pronounced like a hissing from the back of the mouth with the tongue gently close to the roof of the mouth.

You hiss through the small gap between the back of the tongue and the roof of your mouth.

The T is vibrated as though you were going to say THe or THat, or THis, a buzzing D + TH + Z sound, but a bit harder pressed with the tongue pressed against the gums of your upper front teeth.

Ive also heard people say to vibrate the S with the glottis but someone else can come on here to confirm that if this is the only proper case.

Also, to reap the optimal benefits, vibrate each letter or syllable per breath.

Inhale - (hiss from back of mouth/tongue) SSSSHHAAAA - inhale - DZTHTHAAAA - inhale - NNNNAAAA - inhale - MMMMAAAA

This is part of kundalini yoga taught by yogi bhajan I'm doing it aswel and I havnt gotten any bad experiences only really good ones as if the meditation works to destroy the karma and bring forth the god man satanas is just another variation in my opinion I feel more power from the satanama along with the mudras I think it balances the chakras aswel this is my experience and opinion if u feel the power then it's right satanama satnam satanas all the same that meditation with the use of mudras work with satanama

Sa -thumb and Jupiter finger ta- thumb and middle Saturn finger na-thumb and sun ring finger ma-thumb and and Mercury pinky finger , perhaps there is a connection to the posts about Venus/lucifer to this meditation as the thumb almost being the constant the thumb having the mount of Venus as Venus has somewhat always been connected to eternal life immortality even apples that are ruled by Venus the stones accociated with Venus aswel are known to prolong life in my studies

In the video posted by Egon the S is vibrated like a normal S as in Sun.
I remember about this in the old forums and I think Savitar replied to me that both were fine.
I'm pretty sure the results may be a bit different though. I was wondering if anyone ever compared both? :)

He's actually hissing it in the video. maybe you hiss it differently/wrongly? or it could be because of the audio not being very clear.
When I hiss the 'S', I make a very similar sound to the video. All I can say is; my tong is near the back of my teeth when making the sound and it's almost touching the "ceiling" of my mouth.

And yes, I've compared the two. The hissed one is definitely stronger.

This works great to open the crown chakra, I've been doing it every day and I've really noticed the difference, thanks bro for sharing it.

Ok nice that makes sense. I think I remember Savitar mentionned S was fire and SA water. Personally, I prefer the normal S for SATANAMA. :)
