I started a Mars square today. About half way through I got tongue tied on BHAUMAYA. Basically what happened was instead of going BBBBAAAHHH I went BBBBUUU, but I stopped immediately when I realized my error and did it as instructed.
To be clear I was like "AUM KRAAM KRIM KRAUM SAU BUUU- stop and redo to - BHAUMAYA SVAHA
It still felt powerful when I continued but idk.
Any help would be great so i don't risk wasting time.
If you have not programmed energy, wait a few hours, and restart. Otherwise it is neccesary to start the work again.

You didn't ruin it as long as you didn't say AUM KRAAM KRIM KRAUM SAU BHAUMAYA.. BHAUMAYA SVAHA.
BUHH or any random word does not disrupt a Square (as long as it isn't also AUM, KRAAM, KRIM, KRAUM, SVAHA, NAMAH or some other planet name repeated, obviously).

I didnt mess up the square according to Karnonnos, and I trust his judgement. Also, I believe my GD gave me the go ahead . I already completed day two.

Yes. But in this way, the power of work is decreased. This work, is advanced, beacuse it is not easy, as it seems.
As long as you did everything correctly the correct number of times, you are good. You can ignore any extra sound you did by accident. It will work perfectly fine. You don't have to wait any time or start over.

Can I separately still use the planet mantras for strengthening chakras outside of the square simultaneously?
Like let's say I do a Mars square for strength...
But I also simultaneously use only the word BHAUMAYA 50 reps to strengthen my sacral everyday... is that okay? Not the full square mantra, just that one word.

Yes, you can do that. I did that with BUDHAYA x 40 for one purpose and the Mercury Square for another purpose at the same time.
Just don't add AUM, the seed mantras or NAMAH or SVAHA afterwards when vibrating the planet name. If you do that then the Square is ruined.

I was told that I can still use the single planetary words like BHAUMAYA on sacral chakra even if the planet is in its detriment or fall. Why is this allowed for the single words, but not for the full square?
Aren't the planetary words also affected by planet positions?

The Squares, including the shorter Saturn and Jupiter Squares (do not be fooled by their length), summon truly gigantic amounts of energy, with the fall and detriment being applied in antagonism to where the planet is comfortable, this can go seriously wrong due to the way things function on that level of power.
AUM, SVAHA and NAMAH all have very distinct functions in terms of how the energy is applied. The seed mantras also add a a significant amount of power, but the shortened version without them still summons two thirds to three quarters of that gargantuan level of energy.
The planet name alone, just like SURYA, has power but is nowhere near that strong. It's the same reason why a match stick failing and a rocket failing with the wrong type of support (Astrologically or otherwise) is going to have different outcomes. Using the full mantra without the Square, however, is somewhere inbetween.
I should also add that any idiot acting as if Tropical Astrology is 'wrong' and that Sidereal is valid for these purposes is going have a pretty nasty experience sometimes starting what they think is a planet in domicile when it is actually in fall or detriment...

Brother I failed mars square two times but I will begin again around Nov 14th when Moon enters scorpio and waxing, which should be double boost right because Mars is also in scorpio?
I have this anxiety I feel when doing squares, thinking back it seems like, doing squares brings all dirt to the surface that's why I feel anxiety. The anxiety goes something along "The square is not working, the pronounciation is wrong" - etc etc those kinds of thoughts enter my mind
Right now I'm having anxiety because the last time when I stopped after some reps in using the Mars square, thoughts like "The square doesn't work/Mars square is cancelled" kept plaguing me, and I wonder if this worked as an unwanted affirmation or directing of energy.
As in, because I thought "The square doesn't work/Mars square is cancelled" so did this affirmation/thought make it so that the squares never work for me? Is that possible? Like you get what I mean, I affirmed/thought something I didn't want, will it be applied into reality? because my energies were raised even though I didn't finish the square, and since you said its a gargantuan amount of energy, even if only a fraction because I didn't complete it, does this mean I am barred from using squares? Would something like that be manifested from doubts?
Idk how to explain it well, but its just these doubts that plague me when doing squares.

You are likely not ready to begin working with squares, but if you insist on working with planetary energy, then the Mars mantra alone is an option as well.
