Heyy!

I tried to access the Daemons section of the website, but I keep getting a 404 error, is it normal?

I've been out of the loop on a lot of things here for a long time, I feel guilty, afraid the Gods are disappointed, or have given up on me. I know this has already been said.I've been out of the loop on a lot of things here for a long time, I feel guilty, afraid the Gods are disappointed, or that they've given up on me. I know this has already been said, that they don't give up on us, etc.. But I feel like a burden to the community, I don't meditate properly. I think the thing that gets me down the most is laziness..

The Gods pageExternal ↗ is under construction and being updated as we speak. The Gods have not given up on you; it sounds like you are giving up on yourself. You are not a burden to the community; it seems you are at least concerned about improving, which is a step in the right direction.

As far as the laziness goes, it is best overcome by doing the small things first. Small actions build momentum like a snowball effect, and that momentum can eventually push you to achieve bigger goals. Do not overthink what you need to do (or do not want to do); instead, try to do it without any hesitation!

You will not always be motivated to do certain things in life, but once you get into the habit of simply acting and getting started with whatever it is you need to do, the less influence laziness will have over your life. The more you practice doing instead of overthinking, the more your body, mind, and soul become conditioned to taking action to the point that productivity will become second nature to you, and laziness will become alien to you.

Also, I recommend looking into the newly added Obliterating The 10 Resistances of the Mind and Obliterating Procrastination Sacred Ritual from the Hall of Osiris, as this will make this process much easier and more effective for you in all ways.

You are projecting feelings on Gods. The reality is that you need to pick up where you left off and be done with emotions that only serve to keep you down.

Hello!

It's amazing you're aware of how you're feeling, and venting about it in a safe space is also good practice. I'm wondering now what you're going to do to overcoming these feelings that concern you.

Have you thought what's the single, smallest step you can take today to build a version of yourself that doesn't feel that way?

In fact, how would you like you future self to feel about themselves? Think about that, if you haven't already. Write it down, don't just think about.

Pick up a journal, a piece of paper and split it into 2 columns:

  • "how am I feeling today?" on the left column

  • "how do I want to feel every day?" on the right column

Those are the titles.

On the left side, then you write a list of those feelings; on the right side, you write a list with the feelings that answer the question.

Then turn the paper around, and split the paper again in 2 columns:

  • on the left, "what can I do to feel the way I want to?"

  • on the right, "what are the first 3 smallest steps to achieve those feelings?"

And you think about the question on the left-hand side first. Once you reach an answer, write it down.

Then go over to the right column and reflect on the second question. Write the conclusion down.

Once you've finished, re-read everything.

Do it now that you've finished reading this post. "Later" never comes. The only way to make progress in these instances is to start right now.

Once you've done it, focus your mind on step 1. Do it immediately.

There is no other way.

Tonight, after all is done and done, I suggest going thgrough the Pythagorean Day MeditationExternal ↗. How much more have you accomplished compared to yesterday? Even 1% or 0.1% is better than nothing. If you keep working through those small steps, you'll see you'll overcome those feelings and build the version of yourself you want to be.

Tomorrow, go over all 4 lists again as a reminder, and act... keep building. That's the way forward.

All the best!

Laziness is an extremely common issue for most people on the planet, do not feel ashamed.

Shame doesn't help in fighting its source, I've personally found.

Rather find something, or even someone, to hold you accountable, to push you forward.

Whenever you lose track of meditating, you should restart the 40 day program, to rebuild a schedule. I had to restart it quite a few times in my path, before reaching the place I am now, where I meditate every single day. Some days are better and some days are worse, it's normal, just keep pushing.
