Hi,
Is it normal to feel sleepy or dizzy when you’re are vibrating runes into your third eye? I’ve started last Sunday doing this and I’ve noticed that I’m always sleepy eventhough I have enough hours of sleep.
I’m vibrating
4x Ansuz
16x Sowilo
23x Dagaz
I’m also doing AoP and Returning curses 1.
If you feel tired after meditating then you're using more energy from yourself than you're regaining. Continuing to do this will dim the lightbody (your soul), essentially starving it which could lead to onsets of depression and other unwanted things like sickness in the physical body, as the soul mirrors the physical body and vice versa.
Yes, runes conjure energy in and of themselves, but if you don't direct it properly to draw energy from the
astral and not from yourself then it will draw the energy from your own soul or redirect it as a whole to a focused point. And since you're not directing it properly, it's taking the energy out form you, so you're essentially draining yourself. Imagine your soul is like a pond. You're directing all of the water from that pond and focusing it, gathering it all up and trapping it into a small container in the centre of it. Yeah you have lots of potent water there in that one small spot, but what about the rest of the pond? It has no water now. You see how that works? Draw water from the rain that falls above instead.
When vibrating the runes, try willing with intent that you're conjuring the desired energy from the rune out from the astral and not from your own energy. This may take practice to get the hang of. You should not be feeling like you're 'going into' the vibration when you're focusing it into your third-eye.
If you're still feeling tired afterwords trying this then you likely need more practice in directing energy; This will naturally come in time as you become more familiar with energy and meditation in general, so don't stress about it or get frustrated. To which I'll just say to not forget to do the
foundation meditation. It is very important to keep doing at least twice a day to refuel your energy until you become strong enough to start naturally taking in energy passively on your own.
I suggest just giving that practice a try. If all else seems to fail and you're just not yet experienced enough to seemingly do it, then you can keep doing what you were doing, just remember to refuel and raise your energy again with the foundation meditation. Skill comes from experience, experience comes from time. You'll get there eventually.
