Hello I have a tight jupiter and Saturn square in my birth chart and I was wondering if I should try to free my Jupiter and the house it rules from Saturn influences or if its ok to just start using the Jupiter mantra or do a Jupiter square for this placement. Due to the nature of Jupiter in general shouldn't it easily start to overpower the negative influences of Saturn if I use Jupiter energies for a while?

It is not necessary to remove all negative karma before creating positive karma. It is better to evaluate this from a situational perspective and prioritize based on what you need to accomplish, what the astrology supports, and so on.

As HPHC had mentioned before, removal workings can be harsh, so make sure you have the ability to deal with this. Even though the energies used to remove negative karma may act in a more efficient way for the purpose of freeing oneself, the stress caused by this act may make it more preferable to simply focus on constructive actions, which would give more of a balanced result.
