Opening Chakras resting time

Hello,
So I'm doing the 40 day working by HP Hooded Cobra and soon to be on the day to perform the Opening Third Eye meditation, I had read on the Opening The Soul page that it recommends a few days of resting between each Chakra opening exercise.

What should I do in the mean time while I wait for a few days for my body and soul to get used to the effects that the exercises might prove? Should I just consider sticking with the basics for now until the next exercise?

HAIL SATAN!!

You can just work on the basics like Void Meditation, Foundation Meditation, Aura Cleaning, Aura of Protection and Breathing Exercises.

The advice about waiting a few days in between is for people who over-exerted/over-stimulated themselves, and need to let their nervous system recover. So, it is to be taken in context with the paragraph it belongs to. If you're not over-exerted after an opening exercise, you can just keep following through with the other opening exercises.

Thank you very much, that cleared up any confusion I had regarding the opening chakras exercises.

Don't forget about using EZ Chakra Spinning. Quite literally a quintessential unlimited meditation as you advance further you speed up the spin of the Charkas. Stimulates and allows for the release of royal blood(Chakra energy) like the old saying the Pyramids are bleeding. IIRC, a prominent member mentioned Spinning is very healthy to restore a chakra that is fried if your a person blasting away mantras on it and hurting yourself. It allows the chakra to generate it's own energy which is beneficial.

Also consider practicing trance at some point. Void can compound trance as your calming your mind. And can induce a trance state at times.

If your doing the 40-day guide you don't have to be exactitude on it you can leave or add meditations to it. For example your doing the Openings after the Openings you might want to delve into Full Chakra Meditation to feed the Chakras. Pick a number 3-10 vibrations and balance out your soul. The Openings are done with different numbers on purpose just to activate them. But when coming into FCM balance them out.

Don't worry to much about creating an imbalance it takes a bit of effort and time to do that. Just focus on your openings for now.

The 40-day guide serves, even if a little outdated. But serves to compound your progress. Again it's up to you can consider following your own program like Stormblood mentioned.

Since I am following the 40 day program, I have incorporated the EZ Chakra Spin after my morning meditations ie: AC, AOP, VM and Breathing Exercise. I am even doing it during the Third Eye opening meditation where I meditate on it for 5 mins and focus on spinning it, I know I don't have to be exact with the program and that I can add my own meditations or even working but I want to focus on this program since it's aimed at beginners like me. I have done workings in the past but the most I did from hp cobra 40 day program was up to the throat chakra then I stopped and focused on workings and some workings were a success and others I would consider a failure since I lacked the discipline to finish them.

I am planning on making my own program once I have completed the compound base and got my chakras functioning in a healthy manner, but workings or meditations I wanna do by then are still a mystery to me cause I am unsure what type of working I would need to, only ones I can think of so far are aura cleaning and protection workings. Or I just might focus on the Full Clean Chakra Meditation.

You'll find the FCM to be a complete multi-meditation. While we emphasize Yoga Hatha and Kundalini you can add that when you feel comfortable. Like HP.Cobra mentioned a short while back, Hatha should be emphasized a bit more to loosen the body to benefit Kundalini. As for Yoga that helps cleaning and purifying the Nadis you can even program Yogic energy after you enter Savasana and force multiply the cleansing/purification of Nadis.

If anything like Stormblood: Clean|Protect|Void|Foundation|Pranayama exercises|FCM. This exercise routine is very good for a simple beginners it's basically a 40-day guide in of itself put together.

FCM has breathing exercises + mantra + meditation time. In the future pick one of the mantras like Traditional, Necronomicon, Runic or Sanskrit and then perform the breathing exercise and then vibrate out the mantras 3-10 times. And ride with that you generally don't have to go past 10 as your working the long-game, in other words. Turtle vs the Rabbit style; slow and steady.

BTW for third eye and Pineal gland focus on those. So your performing 9 vibrations multiples. 7 : Main Chakras + 3rd Eye + Gaum mantra for pineal gland. Gaum = Silver -AUM mantra.

Working on those would help a lot.
=============================

BTW I have my own question for members of JoS or a higher-rank.

Traditionally the 6th Ajna is Aum or Thaum but we divined that YAUM is for it. And the Crown chakra posses no mantra because there is no mantra for the traditional but for -AUM is MAUM.

If all the Sanskrit mantras are just a base alphabet letter and -AUM or Sanskrit -AUM mantras.

Then isn't it fair to state that the base vibration of the 6th and Crown to be YAM and MAM for the traditional mantra?

We got LAM, VAM, RAM, AUM, HAM. Why not YAM and MAM? If Sanskirt -AUM is merely the Alphabetical base + AUM then the obvious part in removing the -U- from the mantra shouldn't that codify the traditional as being YAM and MAM?

Isn't it fair to state Ajna = YAM i.e. YAUM and Crown = MAM i.e. MAUM.

I hope it doesn't sound silly as the reference is obvious.

But if someone wishes to use the traditional how do they use the traditional if Crown doesn't exist. It would mean I'd need to mix and match the mantras which shouldn't be done and or meditate heavily on my crown in silence which is not good as many Hindus have gone into problems without pumping up the Sahasrara.

If 6th Ajna is AUM and THAUM that is fine they just pump AUM.

But logically speaking 6th YAM and Crown MAM, MAYbe?

Bump on top of it I have ask another question.

If I'm not the biggest fan of Yoga I'm too impatient for it. And while HP.Cobra did state Hatha should be done a bit more than Kundalini due for loosening and flexibility. Just as a precaution as he was stating.

I'm not big on H or K Yoga.

Is it okay to activate, open and tertiary wise empower the chakras without Yoga? I know it helps it gives a burst of energy and in reality. When I did Yoga earlier in the year. I was programming it for "All my Nadis are fully clean and purified from dross and negative energies, now and forever, in a fully positive, healthy and best way for me".

I was using it simply for Nadi cleaning. The Yoga itself stresses the Nadi and I force multiplied it with a x9 affirmations aforementioned before.

But I'm not big on Yoga I don't think I'm doing it as well as I should and I did recently begun a exercise regiment I do want to get involved with free-weights and some bodyweight exercises later with increased strength. I was studying Yoga and it seems like I could be hurting my system. I'd like to avoid injury as much as possible Form is the main factor of precaution. I know Yoga is more of a solo activity but I think I need to stress my body a bit more and then in the future execute it with a better developed body. Even if at high professional levels there are days where you shake holding the Asana.

I'm sure Lydia no matter how much she has done might have shaking once in a while depending on it. As Lydia is our resident Yogic purveyor.

But the patients plus I spend my time talking in my head and music and whatnot.

Is this okay? for the time being?

There are people who have advanced without yoga. We all have different paths, find what is best for you. Maybe yoga will be for you years later, or next life. Or maybe find a few asanas that stretch you good after your workout. We are all different.

And btw yes I do sometimes shake in some asanas, depending on other factors in my day.

It makes sense. The reason we don't have the traditional mantras is because they have been purposefully lost/removed. It's like that saying, however it goes, something like: Just because we don't currently know something, doesn't mean it never existed.

Alright thank you Lydia. I never knew Yoga(H/K) is optional. Yoga is a bit boring and I'm impatient especially as a mentally intense person. Like I said I want to get involved with bodybuilding maybe when I'm stronger and can do proper handstand holding my own weight completely I'll think about it. Or other asana holds.

To do handstand, I place a meditation cushion down on the floor, and then elevate myself with my head on the cushion to have that extra few inches to lift off. Even then I lift and it's like "Ugh my arms can barely take it." Lifting is the hard part but once I'm in the air I can hold it for the solid minute(1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi etc.etc.) or 60 breaths.

So I don't have to do Yoga and can advance but I do want to try it out again in a future period. Lots of bodybuilders especially men are touting the benefits of Yoga and notice they are stressing the smaller muscles and reinforcing their bodies more. Many men who probably have the idea Yoga is a ladies activity. Same for running, many are realizing you need to run to stress the cardiovascular and improve the body. There was some broheim science that running = shrinks gains. Running can in some cases can cause muscle loss but the benefits of running far outweigh not doing it.

Anyways thank you.

And yeah I read your other message the YAM and MAM. I'm just using my logical mind for it. It seems if the base alphabet mantras are U-less i.e. they posses no "U" then VAM/VAUM, MAM/MAUM, YAM/YAUM or LAM/LAUM etc.etc.

I'll stick to the Sanskrit -AUM versions as I do low reps for 7M, 3E, and Pineal.

BTW Lydia and this isn't exclusively to you it can be anyone else as well. What about the chakras above our heads? 8th Gold, 9th Silver, 10th Variable Color, and 11th Variable color.

Are there Mantras for them?

I've been cleaning with 1-Day(Fri/Sat) Sabbath cleaning them I pump them with Vishuddi as well. As one prominent member put it clean the 8th Gold as it helps the Sahasrara. Or do we just stick to the internal body major chakras and ignore the exocosmic chakras.

It's not really "optional" as it is one limb of the 8-fold path. She said that you might not be ready for it right now, but later this can change.

As for not being able to do specific asana, such as handstand, there is this thing called progression. Progression to handstand goes through a 'tripod', then a headstand, and finally a handstand. This is mentioned in the hatha yoga sample session which has been posted in JoS library for years now. There are many other poses that have more difficult variations for those who who have advanced to such level.

To do handstand, I place a meditation cushion down on the floor, and then elevate myself with my head on the cushion to have that extra few inches to lift off. This is not correct as you are a beginner. If the case would be that you are strong to begin with and have good control of your body this could be a different story. Look here for instructions related to handstand.

The reason I have been mentioning yoga to you multiple times is that it would help you heal and open your soul.

Other options such as Tai Chi and Qi Qong share similarities and it would be wise for you to look them up.

And remember, to begin you must not exert above your current level but start with the very basics and build up slowly upon it.
