Greetings to all comrades.
How do you determine the nature of a planet, e.g, how do you arrive to a conclusion that the sun rules this and that, the moon, mercury and so on?
I'll be thankful for a reply.

Astrology might be best described as being like the weather/climate, but on a larger scale. We see patterns, we test, we corroborate, we peer-review... then we come to conclusions and answers - the Scientific Method.

The Sun's and Moon's correspondences are easy to discover, you notice things that react to the Sun or the Moon and their cycles. A woman's menstrual cycles naturally correspond to the lunar cycles so the Moon traditionally is said to be feminine and rules women. The sunflower is called like that because young sunflowers turn to the direction of the sun. The other planets' correspondences are harder, but they do follow a certain logic.

If you want to learn more about them read this chapter from Ptolemy's Tetrabiblos https://sacred-texts.com/astro/ptb/ptb07.htm
and chapters XXIII-XXXI from Agrippa's Occult Philosophy Book I
