Thank you for taking your time and finding some tutorials for me. I am amazed that you actually remembered about it. I would like to find more time to devote to my new hobby, which is sewing, but surely someday, when I will have more free time I will try something from what you just showed me. The last tutorial with lamb is cute. As for sewing plushies from socks, in my case I already knew it beforehand, because I used to sew various things from socks , but as you can see, socks can be approached creatively in many ways.
The last thing I sewed was something similar to the one from the second tutorial, but with different character and show for my sister. It reminded me, that I had some qualms about doing something new to her, because the last time I sewed her snail, I had no life with her. Wherever I went, whenever I did something, it was just that damned snail everywhere. She gave me literally no peace with him. Then, when her craze phase passed with this snail, I sewed her some kind of magic girl.
(as for the glue, don't worry, I'm joining the club. I also had a brilliant experiment with glue :lol: )

I kept forgetting and trying to remind myself to do it these past months, so I'm surprised I managed to get around to it when I did, lol.
I understand the feeling. I struggle to give attention to my sewing and make time for it. Just doing a little each day when you have a moment, even like 20 minutes, you'll see your project slowly form and take shape to completion even if the process isn't as speedy as you would like. Sometimes, if that's all the time you can spare, that's all the time you need to create something.
When I have a moment to sit for a bit, I like to do some hand sewing on my projects, and even though I get maybe half an arms length done in that time, it helps to not feel like I'm neglecting or unable to do my projects because of lacking time. Waiting for "when there's time" tends to end up never really starting or finishing projects.
It's only a suggestion, but give it a shot. See what you can do in the little moment you can spare in the day, and then tomorrow, do just a little more. Slow, but in the end, rewarding.
I've only made puppets from socks so I had no clue they could be plushies, haha. The story of your sister is sweet, I like hearing experiences like that.
Oh btw, off topic but your profile picture inspired me to find the painting that I currently have as my profile (I like the style and vibe of your profile picture).
