Ad Astarte
The silent owl, keeper of an ancient secret,
Through the indigo wood whose opening key is thy lofty intellect,
Is bearer of thy wisest teaching
Honored are You by the stars whose murmur spreads Your enchantment
O Mighty Queen crowned by a cosmic vault of a thousand sapphires
Where no animic desire remains unbroken
Ever aloft Thy thought flies, to a boundless sky
Whose airy heights of magnificence, enchant the minds of thy protégés
Where, for the valiant, the fifth gate of the heavenly realm waits to be thrown wide open.
In thy emerald garden a reflection of eternal knowledge
Where a myriad of gems of light open iridescent
A thousand flowers of a thousand colors spread their faint scent of grandeur
The most precious jewel and the rarest wealth
Not even the fields of golden wheat that cannot compete with your foliage of golden threads
Do not equal thy Divine ethereal beauty
When you arrive, your robe of eternal dawn shines
Leading the beginning of a new aeon, where grand souls unfold
Like the bursting orange of a lily advancing toward the light.
For You are like the scarlet glow of Your solid sword
Blinding and shattering the immoral ignorance of every mortal,
Which with wisdom and enchantment makes its way.
With Thy smile and face of starlight.
With your strength that does not waver and your right measure
With your gentle eternal feeling,
You have made yourself loved.
The sweet symphony of spring bursting forth
Accompanied by nature's gentle rise
To you Our gracious Queen, address this praise.

This praise was inspired by a small detail; I was in the garden some time ago, pondering words to write something in honor of the Goddess Astarte, as I watched the grass stalks blown by the wind. It had just finished raining, and the sun was low on the horizon, making a myriad of droplets hanging from the blades of grass glow with a thousand colors, reminding me of the Chakras and their sacred luminosity.
I know I still have much to improve, but I love writing and composing and I love poetry. I will always try to do my best.
