Well it depends on where, are you thinking of anywhere specific? The Normans built a lot of the castles in Britain.

It all depends on which temples/architectural structures you mean.
There are many beautiful Gothic temples in Western Europe that were built by the Templar Order, and images of Gargoyles can be seen on them.
