Let's hypothetically entertain the idea that she hasn't been asked about the name change at all.
First, the first and most important question to ask yourself is: "If I ascribe divinity to a person (any of the heroes of the past), and hold them in high regard, would they be fond of the changes happening here in the Temple?"
Now, it's obvious what is been tried to achieve; that is actually registering as a religion instead of dwelling in the corners of the internet forever.
So, regarding HPS Phytia, do you think she isn't fond of this huge accomplishment?
If you think that HPS Phytia, a Priestess of the Gods, isn't fond of these updates which are aimed at allowing our religion to flourish like never before, and multiplying, en masse, the number of worshippers of the very Gods she serves, then for what reason do you ascribe her any divinity?
If you think she approves of the recent updates, then why would she disapprove this name change? Why would she prefer her worldly name (just one name out of many past-lifes, at that)?
In under three months, we have established a superior theology thanks to our HP, regarding what we deem unsuitable for the Temple and how we define our enemies. All content and forums have been cleaned and updated so that none of our members will suffer any legal consequences. It's appalling to me how quickly all of this happened.
I'm not criticizing when I say this here, just making an observation: things are truly being rushed, and most members aren't getting prior notice. This is evident in the fact that even some established members had their profile pictures removed without being informed, for an example. I also felt like things were being done without giving any information to Temple's very own members, which, when I observed, felt like a little bit alienating, and I had this feeling that most members feel the same way, one way or another.
However, this was all up until the point at which it was stated that we are registering as a religion, which is HUGE. Achieving this in three months is no small feat and it seems to me that maybe this approach is the best.
Some members might think that it could be done more openly but I trust the judgement of High Priest Zevios Metathronos. I fully believe him and I know that under his guidance, we will successfully complete the construction of our Temple in the real life.
