Focusing on astral senses is a must. Drawing can also be a fun activity that can help with this and will help you fantasize.
Try to use your senses of touch sound smell ect with him and actually try to feel this happening. Moon and Jupiter squares can also help with astral sensitivity along with using Ansus. The astral vision and sound meditation exercises are also great ways to train your senses.
