This post pertains most to people that are experienced with this. When looking for information on heavy metal detox I came across this protocol. It's essentially taking ALA and DMSA around their half-life, every three hours for 4 days and then taking a 4 day break. The author claims, that heavy metal chelators, when not taken around their half-life can actually misplace the metals on even worse places. So in his view natural chelators can do more harm than good, because of their unknown half-life, so they can't be dosed around it.
My question is, is the author right? Or is he completely wrong and I don't have to worry about his advice once I decide to go on a detox?
